Films Speaks.  But What Is It Saying?

The crowd gathers in adjoining seats.  The lights go down.  There’s music, there’s iconography, there’s a message.  We are transported.  At least, we hope to be.

When movies click, they affect us on a soulful level.  Dare we say, film can, on occasion be… spiritual?

“Reel Theology” is a special section devoted to editorial interpretations of various movies.  The readings you may find here might very be unintended on behalf of the filmmaker, and in many cases are subjective to the individual writer’s point of view.  You may find yourself not agreeing, but we hope you will find yourself engaged.
